Lenten Mid-Week Services

Each Wednesday throughout the season of Lent, we will have informal mid-week worship services at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall preceded by a free meal at 5:45 p.m. Handbell choir will rehearse at 7:15 p.m. and choir will rehearse at 8 p.m.

The services will focus on the the final words of Christ.

Feb. 21: Father, forgive them.
Feb. 28: Today you will be with me in paradise.
March 7: Behold your son, behold your mother.
March 14: My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
March 21: I thirst.

On Wednesday, March 28, there will be no meal and worship will be at 7 p.m. This will be the “Maundy Thursday” service, held on Wednesday night because it fits schedules better for it to be on “church night.” The words for that night will be “Into your hands I commend my spirit.”
