Drive west about two miles to X ave, which is the second right. There is a little white sign that says Fredsville Lutheran Church at the corner. Go north on X ave about a mile and take the first left.
From westbound Highway 20 (or coming from the Waterloo area):
Take exit 220. Go north to the stop sign with the flashing red light on it. Turn left. Drive west about two miles to X ave, which is the second right. There is a little white sign that says Fredsville Lutheran Church at the corner. Go north on X ave about a mile and take the first left.
From eastbound Highway 20 (or coming from Dike):
Take the Dike exit off Highway 20. Turn left at the end of the off-ramp (in front of a cemetery). Drive through town until you get to a T-intersection. Turn right and go past Kwik Star heading east on 160th St. (County Road D-19). In about three miles, turn left on to X Ave. / County Road T-65. There is a little white Fredsville Lutheran Church sign at that corner. Go north about a mile and take the first left.
Our Sunday worship services are at 9:30 a.m. year-round. Some people choose to “dress up” more traditionally for worship, and some come in jeans or more casual clothing. The service is a blended traditional style service with hymns, scripture, prayers, and spoken and sung liturgy. Music from our choir and handbell choir enriches our worship services. Although some worshipers prefer to use the hymnals that are in the pews, everything for worship is projected on the screen.
Fredsville Lutheran Church is a child-friendly church. We invite families to sit toward the front of the church so children can see and participate in the worship service. We welcome children and the noises that they make. However, there are toys in the gathering space at the back of the sanctuary if parents feel they need to remove their child from worship, and the sound system carries the service throughout the main level of the building. All who share in morning worship are invited to enjoy coffee, cold drink and fellowship after the service in the fellowship hall.
If you are a visitor, we encourage you to sign the guest book in the front entry.
